Back in the winter we lucked out with a warm afternoon and I met the sweet Gordon family out at Morning Glory Farm! Their mama wanted to capture images of the two girls at their particular stages….but of course I got some a few cute pics of little brother too:) We also had a chance to meet some new baby goats on the farm…had to get some pictures of them as well 🙂

Here’s a glimpse at the 8 sessions I did with baby chicks this spring! We had ALOT of fun as always! Kids + Animals = My Favorite! If you missed out on them this year, be sure to sign up for my newsletter below so you’re on the radar for next year! These are the only mini sessions I typically offer each year to my established clients – and they fill FAST! It was such a blessing because the proceeds from these sessions went directly to the fund for my Guatemala mission trip coming up in June. These sessions alone actually paid for two of us to go on the 10 day trip! Thanks so much to these families for the support:)
I’ve decided that I’ve just gotta catch up on my newborn blogging in particular….because some of these babies will be coming to be soon for the “next pictures” lol….so be ready for lots of lil babes on the blog over the next week!
Meet sweet Julian….such a dreamy little boy in these pictures…but like many newbies he wanted to be awake for the pictures….so we waited a bit and then when he was out, he was OUT 🙂
Thanks so much Colleen for calling on me!
So excited to share these sweet miracles today! My dear friend – the very first friend I made when I moved to the Charlotte area 11 years ago as a matter of fact – had TWINS a few weeks ago – and I was tickled to get to spend some time with them and their big sister Carlie!
And all sucking thumbs….:)
Isn’t Carlie’s face here priceless!!? “Hey they are doing that crying thing again!”
AAAND some outtakes with Miss Carlie who is such the little ham 🙂
So this week I discovered I’m 36 shoots behind in blogging…..and I’m finally to the point where I’m “ok with that.” I’ve realized my to-do list is always going to be unending and daunting at times – and I need to view that as a blessing instead of a stressor! It’s ok to blog out of order…and it’s ok to not blog at all when times call for it…and it’s ok to blog something from 7 months ago…and it’s ok to blog something from less than 7 days ago…. :). It’s ok to blog however it strikes you…and that’s what I’m going to do right now!
This gal here is near and dear to my heart. Literally near to my heart because she’s my neighbor – and dear because I’ve watched her bloom from I believe it was a ten or eleven-year-old little girl – into this strong, smart, beautiful young lady who is going to do big things. I believe in her – and believe that God is going to use her – and I just can’t wait to hear and watch it take place!
Madison has already completed high school and an associates degree – and next month will graduate as a full-fledge fireman (woman?!?!:)) She is so excited to pursue a career as an emergency room doctor – and I know she’s going to be a great one!
Madison and I had so much fun this week in the beautiful canola flower fields and at the fire station she works at in Waxhaw, NC. What fun images we got that just perfectly capture Her right now!
I love you Madison – and I’d like to think that behind your Mom and Dad in line, I’m your next biggest fan! 🙂
