Happy New Year! It’s been over a month since I last blogged….which is VERY unusual for me as I typically blog 3 or 4 times a week! But, rest assured, I’ve been busy – not bored at all! What have I been up to? Well just to name a few things:
– enjoying some much needed time with my family over the holidays
– taking a crazy trip to Disney World with my 5 year old, my 2 year old, and my 5 year old niece during THE BUSIEST WEEK of the year for Disney (and did I mention I was 7 months preggo?!??!)
– visiting my brother-in-law and his fiancé at their seminary in Richmond, Virginia
– AND preparing for the arrival of baby #3 in just 8 short weeks (which has included some major cleaning out of closets, rearranging a spare bedroom, painting, shopping, and moving my 2 year old out of the crib……and more!)
So – I’m very excited about what’s in store for 2013 – including a baby girl in March, a few weddings in my family, and many photoshoots! Yes, I’ve already begun bookings some appointments as far out as fall 2013….so if you are thinking you want like an appointment at some point this year, PLEASE contact me and let’s pencil in a “round about” week or so when you’d like it….because with the new baby girl, things are already going to be a bit more limited anyways!
So, let me introduce you to my first family fotoshoot for 2013….the beautiful Vuncannon family! If you follow my blog, the name “Morning Glory Farm” rings a bell because it is a location I shoot at quite frequently. Morning Glory Farm is a beautiful wedding and special event venue located in Monroe, NC – and the Vuncannons are the “faces behind the name” per se:). Scott and Nan and their two children (who are both in college now – and I happen know from my “previous life” as a high school teacher:)) – are just some of the sweetest people you’ll meet. Nan has been trying for some time now to coordinate a time when both of her children were in town – and I was in town with my camera – so that we could get a few family pictures…..well it FINALLY happened…and I think she’ll love the results!!
and….I promise I’ll be back to my more “normal blogging” here soon…..though it will be a “new normal” as I am trying to take things a bit slower so I can get caught up on all the projects at home that I neglected during my crazy holiday season! But look for a sweet maternity shoot blogged here soon….and 4 babies I’ll have in front of my camera in the next two weeks! AND again, don’t forget to book your 2013 shoot! 🙂
